Day 1: Windhoek to NamibOn day one of your Namibia safari you will stay on the border of the Namib - Naukluft Park. This is considered to be one of the oldest deserts in the world and is a major tourist destination. A short distance away you will find Sossusvlei, an area surrounded by a dramatic sea of sand dunes, reputed to be the highest in the world. Lunch and dinner is included. Tented Camp Accommodation. Day 2: Namibgrens to Sesriem, NamibiaAt sunrise you will travel to the vast dunes of the Namib Desert where you will visit the Namib widlife resort of Sesriem. This will be your base for the night as you explore the endless horizons of the Namib during your Namibia safari. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Tented Camp Accommodation. Day 3: Sesriem to Namib-Naukluft Park, NamibiaOn day 3 of your Namibia safari you will explore the Sossusvlei region, with dunes of over 300 metres high, then head north to a bush camp in Namib-Naukluft Park. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Day 4: Swakopmund, NamibiaAt Swakopmund you will stay in a comfortable lodge accommodation with a distinct colonial character and atmosphere. Swakkopmund has several excellent restaurants, bars and coffee shops, as well as many arts and craft shops selling Namibian rural art. The fine beaches along th e walkways leads to museums, an aquarium and many galleries to visit. Breakfast is included during your Namibia safari. Lodge Accommodation. Days 5 & 6: Damaraland, NamibiaYour Namibia safari continues to the north of Namibia where you will encounter the fascinating Damaraland people and many rock art galleries. The next 2 days will be spent interacting with the Damaraland people, marvelling at the natural rock art galleries and searching for the elusive desert Elephant of this region. Days 7-9: Etosha National Park, NamibiaEtosha National Park is the largest wildlife park in Namibia and offers a wide variety of game viewing and game driving opportunities. This is an educational visit where much of yourtime will be spent on game drives, admiring and learning about the wildlife of Namibia and Etosha National Park. Day 10: Bushmanland, NamibiaOn day 10 of your Namibia safari, you will depart to Bushmanland for an overnight visit to a traditional Bushman village. This is indeed a memorable and culturally rich experience. The San people of Namibia live in these local villages where you will get an opportunity to interact and exchange thoughts with the Bushmen. Tented Camp Accommodation. Days 11-13: Okavango Delta, BotswanaYour Botswana safari trail leads to the Okavango River. The waterways of the delta are full of wildlife and natural beauty. The trail will lead to the dugout canoe (mokoro) of the local Barakwena and Hambakushu of the area. The next few days will be spent on foot and in a dugout canoe along with a houseboat experience to explore the many waterways and eco systems of the Okavango. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Tented Camp Accommodation. Day 14: Maun, BotswanaThe southern most tip of the Okavango Delta will be your re-supply before you enter the game reserve on a Botswana safari for the next few days. The tour will make final preparations for the safari and has the opportunity to take a scenic flight over the Okavango and its many waterways. Breakfast and lunch is included. Days 15 & 16: Moremi Game Reserve, BotswanaMoremi Game Reserve is one of the best reserves in Africa. Its natural beauty and abundance of wildlife, birdllife, insects and reptiles and flora will amaze you. Your tented camp will be made for 2 days and your safari drives and game viewing will be done in and around the areas of your base camp. You will pay a visit to the local community within the area. The low volume policy in Botswana parks will allow for uninterupted game viewing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included on this Botswana safari. Tented Camp Accommodation. Days 17 & 18: Chobe National Park, BotswanaThe Chobe National Park is one of the larger wildlife areas of southern Africa. The scenic drive from Moremi to Savute Camp will take you through the Kalahari vegetation along the Kwai River and sand ridges. The 4x4 roads make this day an adventure in itself and will be a full day of travelling and admiring the Chobe National Park. Your base camp for the next 2 days of your Botswana safari will be in Savute where you will get a chance to search for the well known Savute Lion. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Tented Camp Accommodation. Day 19: Chobe/Kasane, BotswanaYour Botswana safari takes you to the border of Botswana, where 4 countries meet. The Chobe Floodplains at Kasane allows for an excellent boat trip and will bring a relief after leaving the dry Savute channel behind. Your stay in Kasane will be at the Chobe Safari Lodge, where you can enjoy one of the best sundowners of your safari. Breakfast and lunch is included. Days 20 & 21: Livingstone, ZambiaFinally, you will follow the footsteps of David Livingstone to Zambia where you will visit the majestic Victoria Falls and the amazing Zambezi River. The next 2 days will be spent relaxing, visiting local markets and preparing final arrangements for your departure home.
Your safari will end on arrival in Livingstone, however, the guides will overnight one day before departing on the next journey. All clients have paid accommodation inclusive for 2 days in Livingstone to explore at leisure the many hidden trasures of this bustling Zambian gateway. Breakfast is included on your Botswana safari.
