Sossusvlei is surrounded by a dramatic sea of sand dunes reputed to be the highest in the world. Magnificent views of the desert can be seen from the top of the dunes, some over 300m high.
Lake Malawi
Lake Malawi is the third largest lake in Africa. Its maximum depth is some 704 metres (2310 feet), making it the fourth deepest lake in the world.
